escort v focus
im having to borrow my fathers focus for a couple of days asmy car is in the garage. the first thing i noticed was the lack of power in the focus even it is the same engine size. i will give more feedback as i have it for a couple of days

ill be watching for updates on this as i would like to know myself how they compare..
few questions for you to "research" ![]() what engines are in both cars?? handling.. which is better?? ie roadholding, under acceleration/decelleration/cornering.. power/weight/"feel" of both.. feul consumption?? comfort driver/passenger..?? little toys.. ie A/C,traction control lecky windows etc?? grin factor.. reliability?? ![]() modding potential?? space load and interior wise??? no prizes for guessing which comes out on top in most ![]() and before anyone says anything.. i know the focus probably wins hands down on paper.. but you'll all admit.. its completley different to the 'in car' experience

having driven both types many times including many different models from poverty spec to RS models,I just cant stand the focus apart from the RS & ST models they are bland and lack any sort of character, not a lot in it on the rest of the range's performance wise

took the focus back today not a bad car a bit hard in the suspension and very good mpg £15 does 200 miles. only down fall it accelerates when braking and dropping gear as though the coke is still on is this normal for a focus.
